ADD CUSTOM DOMAIN :

InviteReferrals enables you to add your own domain to run campaigns so that you can enhance your brand value. It provides you a simpler functionality to run campaigns with their brand names. Read further to know-how.

Generally, you create campaigns in the IR dashboard and they run under the main domain of invite referrals as seen below :

1. Navigate to IR dashboard> Campaign> Options > Campaign Page.

2. As you move towards the campaign page, you can view that the campaign you created is running under the main domain of ref-r.com.

3. If you want to run campaigns under your brand name and not under the IR brand name. Simply navigate to the IR dashboard and go to the topmost right side of the dashboard to view the CUSTOM DOMAIN option.

4. Click on the custom domain and enter the domain on which you want to run campaigns solely with your brand name.

5. Save the credentials as C_NAME on the DNS server.

How to save the custom domain name on DNS settings :

First of all, create resource records through a DNS provider. Use a minimum of two name servers. Use between 4 and 12 name servers to make it easier to locate your domain. 

         a. Sign in to the domain registrar.

         b. Select the name of your domain.

     c. Go to the DNS settings in the menu option.

     d.  Select use custom name servers in the “name servers”

     e. Enter a custom name server in the server name field.

      f. Click on + to add more name servers.

      g. Click on SAVE.

      h. Set up new resource records with a DNS provider. 

Once you follow the above steps, the status will be changed from pending to active. Now you are ready to run campaigns under your custom domain name.
