Zapier is a platform that makes end-users integrate their applications. Zapier has thousands of applications that one can integrate to automate the workflow of the web applications. It is often described as the interpreter between two or more web applications.
How to Integrate Zapier with InviteReferrals?
You can integrate InviteReferrals with your Zapier and receive triggers for various events such as New or updated Conversion, New user enrollment, New lead generation, and New email invitation.
All you have to do is to navigate to InviteReferrals and proceed to Campaigns>>Edit>>Integration>>Third_Party_Integration to choose from the events for which you want your user-end to be triggered.
But before this, you need to integrate Zapier with Invitereferrals.
Step 1: The first step will be to choose the Zapier Trigger Event to which you want your user to be triggered.
Suppose you want to get the data on new enrollment in your referral program. Therefore, select Event from the Zapier event trigger list.
Step 2: Once you select the desired option, then press Continue. Now, you have to authenticate InviteReferrals in Zapier.
Step 3: Navigate to InviteReferrals. Login into InviteReferrals, visit the integration section and get your brand id and secret key which you need to put here.
Step 4: Now that your account is integrated with Invitereferrals, you need to send a sample data to connect InviteReferrals with the required application.
To send the sample data, you need to navigate to InviteReferrals and create a new campaign and set the campaign as 'Default Campaign.'
Step 5: Once the campaign is created. Enroll in the campaign and enter the 'Sample Data.'
To enroll in the campaign for sample data, navigate to InviteReferrals>> Campaign>> Preview >>Widget. Now enter the sample details [Name, Email, and Contact number].
Now the new enrolled data will appear in Zapier.
Step 6: You will see a list of applications to which you want your data to be synchronized. Suppose you want your data to get synced to 'Google Contacts.' Also, you need to select an event. For instance, you want a new contact to be created every time there is new enrollment, select 'Create Contact.' Therefore on every new enrollment, a new contact will be created in Google contacts.
Step 7: Once you choose the dedicated field to sync the new enrollment, you need to customize it. Let's suppose you choose Name and Contact Number. Therefore on every new enrollment customer's name and contact number will get synchronized to google contacts.
Step 8: Once is done with all the steps, follow the below steps to navigate to Campaigns>>Edit>>Integration>>Third_Party_Integration to choose from the events for which you want your user-end to be triggered.
Then you have to select the particular option from the Zapier application.
Let us take a few examples to understand better how Zapier works with InviteReferrals and its various triggered events.
Suppose an XYZ Ltd. is running a referral campaign by InviteReferrals, and they want all the data of the new manual leads.
To get New Leads
They want the data to be synced in Mailchimp. Therefore, they can integrate InviteReferrals with Zapier and connect Zapier to Mailchimp. To integrate InviteReferrals with Zapier, you can follow the steps above to enter the manual leads' sample data. You can navigate to InviteReferrals>>Preview Widget>>Enter_Details>>Leads.
Now enter the leads manually. Once the leads are entered, you need to select the 'Zapier Action Event,' say, Mailchimp, to get all the synchronized data of manual leads entered by customers.
To get New Conversions.
To get the data of new conversions and sales data, you need to follow the same steps as above. To get the data, you need to enter a Sample Data; for that, you need to navigate to InviteReferrals>>Add_Conversions>>Enroll referral. You can enter the details of the new conversion [Sale, Registration].
Once you are done with entering the sample data, you can select the Zapier action event in which you want your data to get synced. Therefore every new conversion's data will get synced to the application you want to.
